Book Chris Romeo to speak on AI security and application security
Chris Romeo is a third-time cybersecurity founder and co-host of The Application Security Podcast and AI Security Table. He speaks about how AI changes application security, securing AI agents, and building security champion programs. His talks connect the questions teams face about generated code and autonomous tools with the security practices they can apply.
Talk topics
Securing AI agents
Examine agent permissions, sandboxing, and the controls that limit autonomous actions. Connect failure scenarios to the safeguards teams can actually evaluate.
How AI changes the AppSec program
Explore AI code review, AI penetration testing, and what the AppSec engineer needs to understand as software production accelerates. Discuss how teams can focus their effort on useful verification and remediation.
Security champions
Build and scale a security champions program that engineers want to join. Examine psychological safety, community, and the practical support champions need inside development teams.
AI-written code
Examine what developers and security teams should check when AI produces the implementation. Discuss explicit requirements, code review, and independent testing that can challenge a model’s own conclusions.
