Kevin Johnson is co-founder and CEO of Secure Ideas, a security testing and training consultancy he founded in 2010. Over more than 30 years in the industry, he has served as an instructor and author for the SANS Institute and contributed to open-source projects including SamuraiWTF, Laudanum, and Yokoso. He also founded and led the BASE project for Snort.
Kevin Johnson is the CEO of Secure Ideas. He began his career as a developer but turned toward security when he discovered that the interface for an intrusion detection system, Snort, was out of date.
